IMM is hosted by The Story Siren - drop by and see all the other participating blogs with their overflowing mailboxes! It's a great way to learn about new books coming out and books that you may never heard of before.
So I said in my last IMM that I wouldn't be buying any more books in January. Do you think I passed the first week? I did - go me! Mr. Mastercard has stopped crying and is now just rocking gently back and forth in the corner.

I'll be interested in seeing how good Eutopia ends up being. I ran across it a couple weeks ago and thought it looked really interesting (and really weird). I haven't run across an actual copy of it yet, though.

I still feel like a little piggy about my NetGalley requests, but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that went on a little spree! Thanks for making me feel better. I was tempted by Replication. Can't wait to see what you think of it and The Greyhound Girl.

Thanks for stopping by. I absolutely adored Blood Red Road and got to meet the author in October. Very awesome reading experience. :-) I got The Peculiars a few weeks ago and can't wait to get into it. Enjoy your most excellent haul of books. Have a great week!

ReplyDeleteGreat haul this week! I'm glad to see your resolution held... mine didn't! Still, you got a lot of new reads this week so that helps, doesn't it. They all seem interesting, even though I'm not too familiar with them.
I hope you enjoy your books! Happy reading!

I LOVE LOVE Stolen! I was actually just thinking about that book again last night! It really made an impact on me. I read it from the library but I am definitely going to buy a copy of it one of these days. But like you I'm trying not to buy books or only dollar kindle books LOL I also really want to read Blood Red Road. I had that from the library awhile go but just didn't get to it in time. ReplyDeleteI couldn't deal with Saba's (the MC) manner of speaking when I tried to read the print version of Blood Red Road, but now I'm listening to the audio version and it's great. If you can, you should try to get a copy of the audio. It's very well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my IMM!
